I am not a fan of pregnancy, from morning sickness bad enough to land me in hospital at 6 weeks of pregnancy that continues right through to labour, being induced because I am nearly 2 weeks overdue, blood transfusions, pelvic issues that are incredibly painful and a generally taboo issue, gaining over 20 kilos each time (weighing 45 kilos to begin with, gaining close to half your body weight makes you feel pretty unwieldy), and I had a horror birth with Tara - fainting in labour, tachycardia, blood transfusions, she turned the wrong way whilst in labour so needed forceps, etcetera etcera. However I am always aware that in the scheme of things there are people out there with so much bad luck and such sad outcomes from pregnancy, that I really am incredibly lucky to only have 9.5 months of horror each time in return for 4 beautiful babies. So if you are suffering morning sickness or anything else that's not much fun yet, remember it is generally only short term as far as life goes, and some people would give anything to be in your position.
